EVALUATION

Learning Outcomes

  • Awareness that our ideas carry risk in terms of assumptions and knowledge gaps
  • Awareness that there will be internal and organisational pressures to skip the Evaluation step, which leads to risk, future inefficiencies and rework
  • Build idea evaluation capability through structured processes and templates in the armoury

WIN - EVALUATION

In this step we will identify and prioritise a set of critical assumptions and knowledge gaps in the areas of Desirability, Feasibility and Viability, which we will use as the basis for the next stage - Experimentation & Validation. What we mean by critical, are the assumptions or unknowns that if we rule out or close the gap, may lead us to a decision to stop the project. This is what we mean when we say fail fast. It’s about prioritising these types of investigations so we don’t waste time on other aspects of the project.
